Tiki Time is all about relaxing and having a good time with good friends and tropical drinks. Tiki Bars started up around 1934 when Don the Beachcomber opened the first one in Los Angeles. Then Trader Vic's opened in Oakland in 1937. Decorations were Bamboo everything and big Wooden Masks. and other carvings and Hula Girls and anything that looked Polynesian. Disneyland took up Tiki in 1963 with the Enchanted Tiki Room, still showing at the present time! There was a lull in Tiki Rooms but it came back and is now picking up speed again. K Bell's Designer Shag has gone Tiki in many of his Socks.
